I signed up with a new ISP a few months back, and obviously, the modem they gave me isn't any gem, but I stuck with it. But recently it has been failing and the range has been seriously hindered. I got a router to help out the range problem and I have installed, but now I have 2 networks. I know you can have the router as an access point, but they are very close together, the 2. I just want to turn the wifi off on the ISP's modem, leave the LAN on, and use my router for wifi.
Is that possible? If so, how? My modem (the one to turn the wifi off) is a TL-WR740N and the router (the one to use for wifi) is a UniFi AP Outdoor.

OPTION FIVE 1. Open Settings, and click/tap on the Network & Internet icon. Click/tap on Airplane mode on the left side, and turn on or off Wi-Fi on the right side. (see screenshot below).
